Untethered Jailbreak for iPhone 4S, iPad 2 is Out

Although I personally don’t like the idea of Jailbreaking my devices I get asked the question way too often. When I saw the news floating around the internets I thought I’d share with you. Absinthe A5 iPhone 4S and iPad 2 untethered jailbreak is out. The current version is for Macintosh only for now but a Windows version is coming soon. More information can be found on pod2g’s iOS blog

WordPress 3.3: Sonny You the Man

If  you run a WordPress blog or long to start one the time is now because the worlds best blogging platform just got updated. It features a lean, cleaner faster to use interface that will speed up workflow for experts and novices alike. The menus have been cleaned and not feature fly outs as opposed to those old irritating  twirl-downs. The Admin bar has been updated as well to make tweaking your install a breeze.

WordPress software — 3.3, named “Sonny” in honor of the great jazz saxophonist Sonny Stitt — is immediately available for download or update inside your WordPress dashboard.

If you haven’t updated yet jump on it now you’ll be stoked.

The Green House is Making Progress

Wow the last few weeks has been a wild ride. We were blessed with the opportunity to beta test our Green House concept via a Pop-Up Innovation Lounge during the “Nonstop Kakaako” block party. We have been planning The Green House for a few months now and it was time for the rubber to hit the road.

The just over 50o ft² space was coined the “Green House Innovation Lounge” and thanks to our community and the love and support we received we were asked to keep it open. Within two weeks we have outgrown that space so we’ve relocated right next door to a 1600 ft² space and are ready for you to come drop in, say hello and get some work done.

This is the first of many videos John and I will be doing to keep you updated as we grow The Green House Empire. Thanks to everyone who has shown us support so far. Happy Thanksgiving.

SOPA Will Fuck Up the Internet: There I Said It! Watch and Share

I was so inclined to write a whole long-winded post on SOPA or H.R.3261 – Stop Online Piracy Act. But I could go on for days and the good parts have already been well explained by Matt Cutts and others. So watch the video and follow the steps below to stop this mess from happening to us.

What you can do?

- Sign up at American Censorship to send a note to Congress and get updates.
- Call your congressperson with Tumblr’s easy web page.
- I believe anyone inside or outside the United States can sign this White House petition. If you’re outside the United States, you can also sign this petition.
- Follow groups like the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) on Twitter.
- Sign up with United Republic, a new organization dedicated to the larger problem of money in politics.
- Sign up to have Senator Ron Wyden read your name on the Senate floor when he filibusters against this legislation.
